Mother Daughter book in the works!

Susan and I writing a new book about Mothers and Adult Daughters. Surprisingly little has been written about the relationship between Mothers and their daughters ages 22-35. Most of the books on the shelves deal with adult daughters taking care of aging mothers. Now that boomer moms are healthier and more vital for longer, there is a long time when both mother and daughter enjoy a relationship that may look like more a friendship.
We were inspired to write the book after The New York Times wrote an article saying that many daughters think of their moms as their best friends. It is a fascinating question and so far mothers feel that while they have many "friend" moments with their daughters, they are NOT "best friends."
We welcome any of your thoughts. Feel free to contact us with your comments.
